Set within the beautiful North Devon countryside, this project followed a substantial bungalow extension that created a new open-plan kitchen, living, and dining space. The clients wanted the interior to reflect the sense of calm, connection, and tranquillity that drew them to the area, while creating a welcoming environment for both everyday living and entertaining.

With the architectural framework already in place, the focus shifted to developing an interior scheme that would soften the scale of the open-plan layout and create a harmonious flow between each zone. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the design incorporated a palette of natural tones, organic textures, and carefully selected materials that brought warmth and character to the space. Thoughtful zoning, layered lighting, and considered furniture placement helped define each area while maintaining a strong sense of openness and connection.

The finished design captures the relaxed beauty of its North Devon setting, creating a calm and inviting home that feels effortlessly connected to the landscape beyond its walls. The result is a space that supports both quiet moments of retreat and meaningful time spent with family and friends.
